The once-familiar health that has suddenly become alien must be returned, and you should lose weight quickly for achieving that end.
- To lose weight quickly, it is necessary that you reduce your intake of calories.
You must check what you eat and try to cut down on those food items that may increase your weight and substitute them with low-calorie, nutritious items like vegetables and fruits.
- You should drink plenty of water daily.

Your body weight includes the weight of water inside the body and drinking such good quantities of water will do the trick of reducing your body weight.
When you deprive your body with sufficient water, the body will conclude that water may not be available sufficiently and hence should be stored.
Such stored water inside the body will increase your body weight.
If you trick the body by drinking plenty of water, the body may not find the need to store water and hence your body weight will automatically reduce since water is no more stored inside the body.
- You should include more of physical activity into your daily routine.
The arithmetic is you should spend more calories than your intake.
If you burn more calories by climbing steps instead of using elevators or walk the distance to your office and so on, you can definitely see results and lose weight quickly.
You should always be on the look-out for ways to burn your calories.
- You should never starve to lose weight quickly.
If you starve, you will tend to binge whenever you get a chance and this will lead to over-weight.
By starving, you may get results in the initial stages but after a while, you will be depressed to see that the body has ceased to lose weight.
This is because the body may have become used to your starving and hence may have started storing fats for maintaining itself.
This phenomenon of storing fats will show as an increase in weight.
You may also find that your body does not get enough nutrition.
Instead of starving, you should ensure that you eat a healthy and nutritious diet that may not increase your weight.
Fruits, vegetables, wholesome grains and beans belong to this category, and they are called fiber foods.
These will supply a lot of nutrition to your body, give you the feeling of fullness quickly and at the same time, will not increase your weight.
- You should eat only when you are hungry.
Whenever there is a feeling of hunger, you must test it by drinking one or two glasses of water because the body shows its need of water also by making you feel hungry.
By drinking water like this, if you feel that your hunger has subsided, this shows that your body needs water and not food at that moment.
Your mission is to lose weight quickly but not to deny your body and brain with the energy they require for their efficient functioning.
This can be achieved not by depriving you of food but by eating judiciously so that you can enjoy a healthy life as you enjoy your healthy food.
