Most men, thanks to Hollywood and the media, think that hitting the gym a few hours every day for a few months will get you ripped.
Truth be told that isn't true.
What will happen however is you'll get burned out - and you'll also become disappointed with the results you receive.
If I've said it once I've probably said it a hundred times.
Getting a great body depends more on what you eat then how much, or how often, you exercise.
I know it doesn't seem logical but stick with me for a minute.
Most people I know that are really ripped, and I mean really in shape, only work out twice a week for a few hours.
What allows them to stay in such good shape and what allows them to get even more muscular is the fact that they eat right.
Here are some foods you should be eating lots of: 1) Protein Foods.
Protein foods are crucial.
They give you the energy you need to be really productive in the gym.
Protein rich foods include fish, chicken, egg whites, and almonds.
Eating a protein rich food at every meal is a great way to really get in shape (this will also make you gain good fat - which will turn into muscle).
2) Fiber Foods.
Fiber, as I'm sure you've seen from all the commercials on TV, help to regulate your body.
Becoming regulated is really important for your overall health.
Fiber rich foods are things like vegetables and certain types of cereal.
If you want you can try taking fiber capsules that have all the same affect - but just in a pill form.
Eating right doesn't have to be hard.
Great meals can still be made.
Try eating "healthy" for just a few months and then go to a fast food restaurant.
You'll soon find that the food you once loved doesn't even taste that great anymore.
