How to Use an Overripe Watermelon
- 1). Cut the overripe fruit from the rind into chunks with a sharp, clean knife.
- 2). Place the watermelon chunks into a large bowl.
- 3). Pick out the seeds from the watermelon pieces.
- 4). Store the bowl of watermelon chunks in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them. Use cut-up watermelon within about 2 days.
- 5). Add the watermelon pieces to smooth fruit recipes, such as cold melon soups, frappes or smoothies.
