    • 1). Measure the circumference of your head. Mark the length on the colored paper. Cut out a band that fits around your head. Use more than one sheet of paper to achieve the length if necessary. Make the width of the band at least two inches.

    • 2). Attach the pieces of the band with tape if you cut more than one. Refrain from closing the band. Let it lay flat.

    • 3). Draw a half circle on the card stock with a diameter of eight inches. Create a design within the half circle with the markers. Draw simple stripes, circles and shapes or create a picture or several images. Choose something you find appealing and that you feel represents you.

    • 4). Cut out the half circle. Apply glue to the straight-edged bottom of the circle. Position the straight edge of the half circle against the middle portion of the head band. Push the half circle firmly, attaching it to the band.

    • 5). Choose images and hieroglyphics to add to the headdress. Attach stickers or shiny gems around the band and on the half circle. Glue glitter or use glitter pens to add shine to the headdress.

    • 6). Allow the glue and glitter to thoroughly dry on the headdress. Tape the two ends of the band together. Fit the band around your forehead.
