Philosophy is a subject that deals with attempts to understand how people think.
Behaviour, teachings, culture and indoctrination are all part of it.
It is the latter that rings the loudest bell in my ears.
Babies programmed from birth into certain thought patterns will rarely change their minds, or at least only mildly.

But that does not hold true when it comes to religious compliance.
Children all over the world are subjected to the same masterly control that forms a framework of thinking beyond what one sees or knows.
It involves the imagination.
Trained from the outset to focus on the impossible and to accept the ridiculous many continue to death to believe the tenets drummed into them at a very young age.
With memory of my reincarnation and of knowledge about how one can go from life to life provided me insight into what those notions are doing to the world.
The thought that one dies and goes off to heaven or paradise is destroying the normal behaviour patterns that would relate to individuals other scenarios.

Science demands proof of any claim made but religions can get away with murder, terrorism, overpopulation of the world, and so forth, simply by stating that they speak for God.
Then again what or who is that divine entity and why doesn't it speak up to defend itself.
These are puzzles that many philosophers have attempted to resolve but it is not in their path to do so.
Between lives I was with the Spirit of the Universe and that is the intelligence that makes and breaks all things.

From my witness of the after-life there is no heaven and hell, devil, angels or saints.
These are tools used by religious organisations to get people in and keep them there.
Philosophy has a place in some people's thinking but it is only those with a spiritual link who will find their way to a solution.
That will involve discarding the myths for reality.
