How to Decoupage Easter Eggs
Things You'll Need
Instructions
1Cut an image out of wrapping paper, stationery or another piece of material that you're using as a decoration. Glue the images onto the eggs, and use a toothpick to flatten out any wrinkles on the images. Use a paper towel to wipe off any excess glue.
2
Pick an acrylic paint of your favorite color and apply it to your eggs. Let the paint dry for about a few hours.
3
Apply the gloss sealer onto your eggs with a sponge brush. Add a second coating, then let the eggs dry. Cut six-inch squares of plastic foam, and stick a dowel or a similar object into the center of each square. This will be a base to hold the egg along with some masking tape.
4
Use a small paintbrush to add embellishments to your eggs, such as glitter. Wait for the eggs to dry again before finishing your decoupage.
5
Remove the eggs from the plastic foam base. Glue gold findings or other pieces to cover the holes that are left on the ends of the eggs.
