How Do You Drill Through Dominos?
- 1). Use duct tape to secure the edges of a domino to a wooden block.
- 2). Load a drill with a bit of the required size.
- 3). Hold the drill against the domino with the bit at a 90-degree angle to the surface.
- 4). Drill through the domino, applying steady pressure against the drill. Do not put all of your weight on small bits or you may snap them.
- 5). Remove the drill bit from the hole. Clean any melted plastic off of the bit with a toothpick or similar tool before drilling the next domino.
- 1). Place the domino into a drill press. Clamp it in place if you can, otherwise place strips of wood on either side of the domino and tape them down.
- 2). Load a drill bit into the press.
- 3). Turn on the drill press and slowly lower the drill through the domino. Pull the drill back every few seconds to clear out any plastic dust.
- 4). Mark the position of the hole if the drill bit is not long enough to go all the way through. Flip the domino over, mark the same position on the other side and drill again, connecting the two holes into a single one.
