How to Convert a Blu-ray to MPEG4
- 1). Download and install iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper from the iToolSoft website (see link in Resources). The iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper comes with a free trial period. When it ends, you have to pay to keep a working version of the software.
- 2). Close any open programs on your computer. Insert the Blu-ray DVD into the DVD drive on your computer. If the DVD starts to auto-play, be sure to stop it.
- 3). Launch the iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper on your computer. Click the arrow to open up the pop out menu by "Profile." Select "MPEG4" as your output file type from the list of file formats.
- 4). Open the Blu-ray DVD in iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper by clicking "Open Blu-Ray." This button features a blue disc with a plus sign on it. Look for this button on the lower left corner of the iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper screen.
- 5). Convert to MPEG4 by clicking the ripping button. It is the button with the green arrows on it that is located on the lower right side of the iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper screen.
