How to Remove Marker Stains from Carpet
- 1). Vacuum the carpet that has the marker stain on it to remove any debris.
- 2). Pour a capful of rubbing alcohol on a dry cloth.
- 3). Dab the carpet stain with the alcohol on the cloth.
- 4). Blot the marker stain and alcohol with a clean cloth until no more marker ink is being removed.
- 5). Repeat the process of dabbing the marker stain with alcohol and blotting it up until the marker stain is no longer visible.
- 6). Apply cold water to a sponge and gently rub the area where the stain was to remove the alcohol. Blot up the water with a dry cloth when you are finished.
