How to Bleach White Grout
- 1). Pour 1/2 cup baking soda into a large spray bottle. Add 1/3 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup white vinegar and 7 cups of water. The baking soda and white vinegar are natural bleaching agents. The baking soda also creates a slightly abrasive surface for scrubbing.
- 2). Replace the cap on the spray bottle and shake it well. Coat the white grout with a heavy cover of the solution. Allow it to soak into the grout for 20 to 30 minutes.
- 3). Scrub or wipe the solution away with a scrub brush or sponge. Rinse the area well with clean water.
