How to Add Music to an iPod With Winamp

    • 1). Connect the iPod to the computer by using a USB cord.

    • 2). Open the Winamp digital-media player.

    • 3). Click on the "Media Library" tab that is found near the top left side of Winamp. The iPod will be listed under the "Portables" list in the left-column menu.

    • 4). Click on the iPod link located in the "Portables" list. You'll now see the contents of the iPod.

    • 5). Click on the "File" drop-down menu and select "Add Media to Library." Find the folders of music you'd like to add to the iPod and double-click on them. They will be added to Winamp's music library.

    • 6). Click the "Audio" link that is found under the "Local Media" list in the left column of Winamp.

    • 7). Click on the songs you'd like to add to the iPod, hold down the left clicking button on the mouse, and drag the songs from the "Audio" library to the iPod link found in the "Portables" list. Once the cursor is above the iPod link found in the "Portables" list, let go of the left clicking button to drop songs into the iPod.

    • 8). Click on the iPod link in the "Portables" list. Click on the "Sync" button that is at the bottom of Winamp. Music will now be added to the iPod.
