Camoflauge Baby Shower Ideas

    Decorations

    • When purchasing decorations for a camouflage baby shower, get plates, cups, napkins and tablecloths in camouflage print, if possible. If the shower is for a baby girl, incorporate pink plates, cups and napkins with the camouflage. Use green, brown and black balloons, as well as pink if it is a girl. Make balloon bouquets and tie them to plush animals such as deer, rabbits or bears. If the shower is for a girl, tie pink hair bows on the heads of the plush animals.

    Food and Drinks

    • Finger foods perfectly suit a baby shower, as you do not want to spend too much time eating. A long table with camouflage decorations can sport trays of fruit, veggies, dips and bowls of chips. Finger sandwiches will also go over well. Open a bag of M&M's and separate out all the brown and green ones, and mix them up in a bowl on the table; if the shower is for a girl, mix in pink M&M's, which are available at most party supply stores. To give a real hunting feel to the camouflage theme, put out venison jerky, trail mix or other similar food choices. Combine lime sherbet and ginger ale soda to create a green punch.

    Games

    • Before the party starts, print out pictures of hunted animals--deer, bears, rabbits, squirrels and ducks, as well as more tricky animals like elk, caribou and big horn sheep. Provide each guest with pen and paper. As you hold up each image, have the guests identify the animal. Award a small plush animal or camouflage T-shirt to the person who gets the most answers correct.

    Diaper Cake

    • Make a diaper cake by rolling up several diapers and stacking them into tiers like a wedding cake. Camouflage ribbon tied around each tier creates the look of a cake. If the shower is for a baby girl, tie a piece of smaller pink ribbon on top of the camouflage ribbon. Put a plush deer on top of the diaper cake and attach several baby items to the cake, such as pacifiers, small outfits, teething ring, mittens, booties and bottles.
