The modern bride has many things to consider from the flowers to the invitations but perhaps the most daunting task is deciding the wedding colors.
In the traditional colors, the bride wears white and the groom wears a black tux.
But what if you don't want the typical colors? Well, don't worry, a bride can wear whatever color she wants - it is her wedding after all.
Each year, different colors become the norm for a wedding, some range from purples to greens, some have shimmer and some have just plain pastels.
So the choices you have to choose from are limited only by what you want and what you will accept.
There are many variations in colors that have become popular choices for modern brides choose among.
Yellow and Orange have been popular as both have a bright disposition and can be used easily with many different floral arrangements.
Yellow, on one hand, offers bright and sunny features that show a positive attitude and happiness whereas orange, offering a great backing or complimentary scheme to the yellow primary, is good for a very bright and cheerful setting.
These work best in the outdoor setting but also canbe used inside.
Many variations of yellows are available.
Brown also contrasts well with the yellow scheme and can be used very easily with any tone of yellow.
This is another color combination that looks really great in an outdoor setting.
A pink wedding may be for you, this shows innocence as well as a loving nature.
For the men, you might want to consider a Purple tone because these contrast well together.
If you want the darker colors, that is ok.
Purple goes well with other colors and so does pink.
These will be perfect for a night wedding or even a chapel or church setting.
Many flowers and wedding favors can easily be found that will match this type of color scheme.
Blue and Red contrasts work well because they denote a good match as well as the more royal appearance.
This can be a good choice and provide a distinctive touch because it is not being used that often .
You can match most colors to have a crete good scheme .
And you can always have underlying tones of a third color if you want.
But speaking of a two-tone wedding, you will want to consider carefully what the pictures will look like when the bridesmaids and groomsmen are in lined up together.
Black has been popular for men's clothing, but if you are a gothic kind of bride, anything goes with black and there are plenty of ways to mix and match.
Although the guests may or may not be in black, this color has been in wedding traditions for a long time, just not as much for the bride as the groom.
But this is the 2000's, you can have the color of your choice.
