Here's a look at the top ten men's World Cup Giant Slalom ski racers in the 2014 season following the second Giant Slalom race at Beaver Creek, Colorado on 12/8/13.
Just like the first FIS World Cup Giant Slalom race at Soelden, Austria, Ted Ligety put up the fastest first run and this time he doubled down with the fastest second run as well. Ligety's combined times were 1.32 seconds faster than runner-up Bode Miller. Bode Miller of the USA? That's right it appears Bode is back with a vengeance finishing 1/2 second ahead of Austria's Marcel Hirscher.
The results at Beaver Creek didn't do a lot to shake up the World Cup Giant Slalom rankings except to add Miller in 4th place.
