I like to think anytime I've doubled something, I've doubled happiness or success.

When he was a Cub Scout, his dad was the leader.
One of his friends opened the meeting with the National Anthem instead of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Alex wouldn't let this go.
His dad tried to help him understand that this was a mistake that he could have easily made, too.

" When it came time to open up a parental meeting in the spring, what did he do? He opened up with the National Anthem.
This negative path of thinking doubled the number of times this mistake was made.
This was because he was so heavily focused on NOT saying the National Anthem that the National Anthem was the only thing he could think about.
He was humiliated.
He felt bad for treating his friend with so much disrespect.
What's more, he found that he was too focused on what people weren't doing right that it seeped into his life and that negativity overtook him.
So many people are overwhelmed with negativity today; they just aren't sure what's going to happen or what to do about it.
We don't know what's going to happen with real estate, the economy, terrorism, or the new president.

Prioritize how important those loves are to you.
Within these loves, you will start to discover your life mission.
Your life mission is the end result of what you want to achieve.

You need to answer specifically what you want to double.
Do you make $30,000 a year? You probably want to double your income to $60,000.
Get a little more specific.
When do you want to double your income? You could double it by 2030 or double it by 2010.
Here's your goal, "I will make $60,000 by January 1, 2010.
" Walk into work and people ask you how you're doing.
You're moping around and trying to get through the week.
You bring the whole office down.
You bring down the productivity.
You bring down your income.
It's not a big "secret" anymore.
In fact, most of us know it.
