How to Install Creative WebCam Instant
- 1). Click "Start" and then go to "Control Panel."
- 2). Click on "Category View" in the left pane of the "Control Panel" dialog box if you are in "Classic View." Click on "Performance and Maintenance."
- 3). Click on "System Restore" in the left pane of the Performance and Maintenance dialog box.
- 4). Click on the circle next to the wording "Create a restore point." Click "Next."
- 5). Enter a name for the restore point in the box under the heading "Restore point description:." Click "Create." The restore point will be created and your system will return to a working state within minutes. This process keeps your system safe in case there is an error.
- 6). Open your computer's Internet browser.
- 7). See the Resources section to visit the Creative WebCam Instant driver's website.
- 8). Click on your computer's operating system name: "Windows XP," "Windows 2000" or "Show all available drivers."

Click "Save" when prompted. Navigate to the directory where the file is saved. Double-click on the file to open it. - 11
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the driver installation. - 1). Plug the Creative WebCam Instant's connection cable into any available Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on your computer. Your computer will recognize the camera and process the camera's driver.
- 2). Open a chat client like Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live or similar application.
- 3). Click on the "Webcam" setting within the chat client to activate and use the Creative WebCam Instant camera.
