Walls

• Cover the walls of a room with cherry blossom wallpaper. Paint a large mural of a cherry tree in bloom on a wall, or just a couple of branches for something more demure. Paint the mural yourself, use stencils, or hire an artist. Bring the motif into the kitchen by using cherry blossom tiles as a back-splash. Or use these same tiles in the bathroom for the walls around the bathtub. If you don't want to take the cherry blossom motif quite so literally, let the colors of the cherry tree inspire you by painting the walls pink or brown.
