How to Clean a Copper Stove Hood
- 1). Wet the flannel cloth with warm water and a drop or two of dish soap.
- 2). Wipe down the stove hood using the wet cloth. Remove any smudges or residue.
- 3). Rinse the cloth with clean water and use it to wipe away any soap from the stove hood. Dry well with a towel to prevent water spots from forming.
- 4). Apply a thin layer of polish to the entire stove hood using a dry flannel cloth if the copper is tarnished or dull. Allow to dry according to the instructions on the cleaner.
- 5). Rub the copper to a shine using another dry cloth. Make sure to remove all traces of copper polish from the stove hood.
