How to Make a TTF
- 1). Obtain a font creation program. Either purchase FontCreator, download the free open-source FontForge, or create a font out of your own handwriting at Fontifier.
- 2). Design your font. Use your own handwriting, modify a preexisting font, or create a font entirely from scratch. Include lower-case letters, upper-case letters, numbers and symbols, and any additional flourishes or graphics. Save your font.
- 3). Turn the font into a TTF file. Both Fontifier and FontCreator automatically create TTF versions of your font. With FontForge, after each character has been created, export the file into a TTF version.
- 4). Implement your font into your project. Save the TTF file to your desktop or in the "Font" folder. Right-click on the font and click "Install" to install the font in your computer. Now you can use the font in different programs.
