How to Use a USB 2 Port for USB 1
- 1). Turn on or restart the PC. Press the "Pause Break" key at startup to freeze the boot screen.
- 2). Locate the "Press the <N> Key to Go to Setup" or similar message. Press the "Pause Break" key to unfreeze the screen, and then immediately hit the setup key to go to the BIOS Setup Utility.
- 3). Use the arrow keys to select the "Advanced Options" or "Integrated Peripherals" menu.
- 4). Press "Enter" to open the menu. Use the up and down arrow keys to select "USB Controllers."
- 5). Use the "+" and "-" keys to change the "USB Controllers" setting to "USB 1.1" or "USB 1.0."
- 6). Press "Enter." Press "Esc" to return to the main menu. Select "Save and Exit," and then press "Enter" to save and quit the BIOS Setup Utility.
