  Broadway, a long street in Manhattan, commonly refers to New York City's theater district, home to more than 40 theaters. The district covers an 11-block strip of Manhattan between West 53rd and West 42nd Streets and between Sixth and Eighth Avenues. Several hotels are conveniently located close to the theaters.
