How to Clean Aluminum Bakeware
- 1). Fill the aluminum bakeware with warm water. Add enough liquid dish soap to create suds. Agitate the water with a sponge. Leave the bakeware to soak for one hour. Use a wooden spatula to scrape off any loosened food particles.
- 2). Rinse the bakeware with clean water. Fill it with 1 qt. of clean water and 2 tbsp. of cream of tartar.
- 3). Put the bakeware in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the water comes to a boil. Leave it in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove the bakeware and dump out the water.
- 4). Fill the bakeware with soapy water. Scrub the inside with a soft sponge. Rinse out the cookery and dry it with a clean towel.
