How to Run Turbo Lister on a Mac
- 1). Download and install the free Bootcamp software available directly from Apple (see Resources). This software not only allows for Windows to be loaded onto a Mac, it also provides the drivers needed by Windows to operate properly on Mac hardware. The software will provide guidance on how to set up the hard disk to accommodate the Windows software.
Once Windows is installed, reboot the Mac and hold down the "Option" key to display a boot selection window. Select the Windows installation to boot into Windows. Navigate to the eBay Turbo Lister download page and download the Turbo Lister software. Complete the installation of the software by following the onscreen instructions. - 2). Run Turbo Lister on a Mac by downloading and installing the Parallels software (see Resources). Click the button labeled "New Windows Installation" from the Parallels main screen to create a virtual machine in Parallels running Windows. After the virtual machine has been created, double-click on its icon on the Mac desktop to launch Windows from within OS X. Navigate to the Turbo Lister website using the virtual machine and download the Turbo Lister software. Install Turbo Lister in the virtual machine by following the onscreen directions.
- 3). Run Turbo Lister on a Mac by downloading and installing VMware's Fusion software from the VMware website (see Resources). Launch the software and select "New" from the "File" menu to create a new Windows virtual machine. Insert the Window's installation disc and press the button labeled "Install this Operating System." Complete the installation by following the onscreen directions. Launch the Windows virtual machine by clicking on its shortcut, now available on the desktop. Navigate to the eBay Turbo Lister website from within the the virtual machine and download the Turbo Lister software. Click on the downloaded software and follow the onscreen instructions to finalize its installation.
