How to Get Scrapes Out of Cultured Marble Vanity
- 1). Attach a wool pad to the bottom of a buffer. The buffer you use should have about 1,500- to 2,500-rpm.
- 2). Apply automotive finishing compound to the scratched surface of your cultured marble vanity.
- 3). Rub the wood pad over the surface of your cultured marble vanity without turning the buffer on. This will cause the coating on the vanity to look a little hazy.
- 4). Turn on the buffer and continue buffing the vanity until you can no longer see the scratches.
- 5). Use 800- to 1,000-grit wet and dry sandpaper if the buffer alone does not get out the scratch. Use a little water to help lubricate the sandpaper. Buff with the buffer when you're finished.
