- 1). Give yourself ample time to drive along the Heritage Corridor. There are a large number of animals living in the woods near the road and you want to use caution. Driving slow also gives you time to fully appreciate the scenic views.
- 2). Bring a picnic lunch and stop along the byway for a short meal while watching the people drive by. Alternatively you can also grab a bite to eat in nearby North Bend or grab some snacks there for the trip home.
- 3). Take time to visit the all natural waterfalls along this stretch of Washington Highway. Twin Falls and Snoqualmie Falls are both located on the road and both are open to the public. You can hike up to the waterfalls and take pictures or just enjoy the view before heading home.
