How to Clean a Dry Ice Machine
- 1). Take the dry ice machine into a well ventilated area. Bleach fumes can be toxic. Be sure to wear latex gloves. Bleach can irritate the skin.
- 2). Wipe the entire machine with paper towels. This will remove large amounts of dirt and mold. Throw the paper towels away.
- 3). Mix bleach with water in a spray bottle, one part bleach to four parts water. (See Reference 1)
- 4). Spray the bleach mix over the dry ice machine area and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- 5). Dry the ice machine with a washcloth.
