104 10
    • 1). Insert a CD into the drive on your computer. The "AutoPlay" box will appear on the screen. Select "Burn files to disc using Windows Explorer."

    • 2). Type in the title of the disc in the first blank. Choose between "Like a USB flash drive," which will use the Live File System, and "With a CD/DVD player," which will create a mastered disc. Press "Next" to continue. A formatting progress bar will appear on the screen, and then the "AutoPlay" box will appear again. Select "Open folder to view files."

    • 3). Drag the files that you want to burn to the CD into the Windows Explorer window that appears. If you are using the Live File System, the files will automatically be copied to the disc. If you are creating a mastered disc, once all the files that you want to copy are in the window, click "Burn to Disc" at the top of the window.

    • 4). Press the eject button to remove the disc once you are done copying files. Windows 7 will automatically close the disc session for you. Skip this if you are burning a mastered disc, as the disc will automatically eject once it is finished copying your files.
