How to Fix a Slipped Axle in My Canon EOS

    • 1). Turn your camera to the side to access the battery compartment near the lens.

    • 2). Lift the battery compartment door up to expose the axle. Actually, if the axle is slipped, the battery door will likely be hanging off the camera and you won’t have to open it.

    • 3). Locate the metal compartment into which the axle fits. This will be located at the side of the battery compartment.

    • 4). Press both ends of the axle into the compartment until they snap in place.

    • 5). Snap the battery door in place to ensure it is working properly.
