  Elmood Park is a small New Jersey town with an interesting history. Until 1916, the city was called Dundee Lake. Its residents voted to secede from the Saddle River township and form a new borough of East Paterson. This lasted until 1972, when the residents again voted, this time to change the city's name to Elmwood Park.
