How to Troubleshoot My Jiffy Pro-Line Steamer
- 1). Using a wrench, remove the hose attachment.
- 2). Remove the steamer's water bottle and empty the unit of all excess water.
- 3). Check the steamer hose for a blockage. Use a garden hose to flush out build-up.
- 4). Pour Jiffy® Liquid Cleaner into the steamer's water cup (where the water bottle would normally be placed). Leave in for 2 hours. Do not turn unit on during this time.
- 5). Rinse out the unit with clean water 2 to 3 times. If water does not run clear, steps 1 through 5 can be repeated.
- 1). Check your unit's cord connection to the outlet.
- 2). Look for visible signs of a damaged cord and blown fuse. A bad fuse or switch may need to be replaced.
- 3). If your steamer is under warranty, visit an authorized repair center or Jiffy® Steamer company technician.
- 1). Check the steam head for cracks.
- 2). Make sure that the steamer's rod is assembled correctly. (Check your model for specifications.)
- 3). Replace the broken head if it is damaged.
- 4). When operating the steamer, keep the hose straight. This will avoid a build-up of condensation.
