Established in the U.S. in 1988 and now with local chapters around the world, GLAS (the Gay and Lesbian Arab Society) serves as a networking organization for gays and lesbians of Arab descent.

GLAS promotes positive images (and combats negative ones) of gays and lesbians in Arab communities internationally. GLAS also provides a support network for its members while fighting for human rights wherever they're oppressed.
